Dopo aver gettato uno sguardo al fenomeno del band cosplay, con questo articolo andiamo a esplorare un’altra parte del fandom del visual kei: i ban’yaro.
Il termine ban’yaro shōnen, o più comunemente ban’yaro, è nato dall'abbreviazione del titolo di BAND yarō ze (Facciamo una BAND), una rivista fondata nel 1988 sull'onda del crescente band boom che aveva segnato un picco nella formazione di gruppi amatoriali su modello del Japanese heavy metal.
